 DAY 2: BAI TU LONG BAY (B/L/D)

08:15 – 09:30: Discover the bay by one-day itinerary on our professional day boat.

9:30 – 12:00:  Cruise toward Thay Cave, coral reef reservation area out side the Thay Cave then cruise toward Vung Ha island. No visit cave.

12:00 – 13:30: Have lunch on our day boat, relax for couples of minutes.

13:30 – 15:30: Follow the itinerary, Foot Print Beach is chosen to be next destination. You are free to visit the island, walking around for photo.

15:30 – 17:30: Transfer back to Starlight Cruise. Have dinner and night activities on board.

 DAY 3: BAI TU LONG BAY – HANOI (B/L)

06:30 – 7:00: Welcome a new day with amazing dawn on the Legendary Gulf of Tonkin. Refresh your body & soul by a Tai-chi lesson on sundeck.

09:00 – 09:30:  Visit Thien Canh Son Cave – – the medium size and less visited cave in Bai Tu Long Bay

09:30 – 10:00:  Check-out room. Luggage can be delivered to the reception area.

10:00 – 11:00:  Head back to the Harbor. Have early lunch on board. Disembark Starlight Cruise at around 12h00.

DAY 1: HANOI – HAI PHONG - HALONG BAY - LAN HA BAY

09h15 - You will be collected from Hanoi Old Quarter to take the new highway to Got Ferry Terminal – Cat Hai Town, Haiphong City where we arrive at around 11h30. The passengers have a chance to experience on longest and newest bridge in South East Asia area. You can take special tea at Orchid Cruise’s lounge by warm welcome.

12h00 - Transfer by tender to the ORCHID CRUISE.

12h15 - We welcome our guests onboard the ORCHID CRUISE and then check in, enjoy Welcome Drink, receive cruise briefing, safety instructions and check in. Start cruising and explore Halong Bay - one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature.

12h40 - ORCHID CRUISE proceeds to Da Chong islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago. Have lunch while passing via the islets of Con Vit and Gia Luan. These amazing limestone karst formations rise up out of the sea in an impressive manner. This area is untouched, as not many cruise ships use the route via the Cat Ba Island - Thoi Quyt area - Coc Ngoi islet - through Cua Van to Ba Trai Dao area.

15h00 - We progress to Ba Trai Dao beach area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Halong Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam. The region is known for its pristine beaches and spectacular beauty, having about 400 fascinating islands. You may prefer to try your hand at kayaking or simply just enjoy a swim. This is a great experience, immersed in the crystal clear water of the bay, in the Ba Trai Dao area (Visiting Ba Trai Dao from October to May.

From June to September, visiting Tra Bau area, belongs to Lan Ha Bay. Tra Bau is also one of the ideal destinations for kayaking and swimming. Come here, you will have a chance to immerse yourself in blue water.)

18h00 - It’s time to try the authentic well-known local liquor as “Ba Kich liquor” (Morinda officinalis). This is a kind of wealthy and tasty liquor which is really highly recommending liquor in Viet Nam. You might never forget this lovely purple liquor

18h30 - Returning ORCHID CRUISE, you can watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. Onboard you may join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam dishes. In the early evening the boat has its Happy Hour deal

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY

6h00 - The day starts early onboard ORCHID CRUISE with Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

Coffee, tea and pastries for light breakfast are served in the dining room with morning view of bay’s landscape, then continue our journey.

8h30 - Transfer to day boat for visit Viet Hai village. You will take the bicycle trip along the village path and go through rain forests and dark tunnel.  Enjoy stunning scenery of rice fields on the way. Stop at the village to relax. Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo…you will have chance to see the local life on a valley of local people. Optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost).

Back to day boat for visiting Lan Ha Bay. Lunch served on day boat.

13h30 - Visit Lan Ha Bay, free kayaking and swimming at Ba Ham Lake area situated in the middle of a narrow, rectangular area, with the all four sides enclosed by vertical cliffs. (if the weather permit).

16h00 - Return to ORCHID CRUISE. You will join a traditional cooking class. Our chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam dishes. Watch the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin. In the early evening the boat has its Happy Hour deal.

DAY 3: HALONG BAY – HANOI

06h00 - Why not rise early to witness the bay at its very best whilst enjoying an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck; after which we serve light breakfast. Upon completing breakfast continue our journey and head out in canoes to explore the bay in the area where the Toi Sang cave is situated.

9h30 - Visitors then return ORCHID CRUISE for check-out procedures

10h00 - Whilst cruising back you can enjoy a delightful brunch

10h30 - Tea Ceremony is served at the restaurant. You will learn how to enjoy Vietnamese tea and Vietnamese cultural at this ceremony. Joining Tea Ceremony with our crews team and have great fun with us!

11h35 - We return to the quay side in the south of the bay, where our visitors disembark.

We bid farewell at GOT ferry, this is the end of the program. We hope you have enjoyed your time with us and wish you a safe onward journey.

In case the clients for any reasons cancel the trip, the following fees should be paid:

More than 45 days prior to check-in No cancellation charge

From 45 to 10 days prior to check-in 50% of total price

10 days prior to check-in or No-show 100% of total price

Services are cancelled by Orchid Cruises

According to the Halong Bay Management Board final decision, the cruise trip could be postponed, shortened or cancelled due to unexpected bad weather, including storm/ typhoon (summer), cyclone, thunder storm, foggy days (winter), monsoon (winter)… In this case, clients will be refunded the total sum of booked services. Should there are any rising services during that time, clients will pay basing on the actual amount.

CHILDREN POLICY

One child under 5 years stays free of charge using existing beds.

One child from 5 to 12 years is charged 75 % of the adult cost when using existing beds.

One older child or adult is charged 40 % of the room stay per night in an extra bed.

DAY 1: HANOI – BAI TU LONG BAY – VUNGVIENG FISHING VILLAGE ( LUNCH / DINNER )

07:30 – 08:00: Make your way through the Red River Delta from Hanoi to Halong City via your transfer vehicle. Breaking time will be arranged for your best comfortable.

12:30: Your cruise will begin with a transfer from the mainland on our excursion boat which will transport you to our main vessel, Signature Cruise. Upon boarding you will be greeted by our friendly Crews and enjoy a complimentary welcome drink. After a brief introduction and safety procedures overview, you will be checked into your cabin and have some free time to relax and explore the craft.

13:15: A delicious lunch will be served in our main dining room as we slowly cruise through the magnificent limestone formations which make up Halong Bay. Feast on delicious seafood and range of other delicious dishes as we make our way deeper inside Halong Bay.

15:00: Head to Vung Vieng fishing village by local rowing boats or kayaks to explore the interesting daily lives of its inhabitants.

16:30: Back onboard Signature Cruise Halong Bay’s main craft we will drop anchor for our overnight stay surrounded by incredible landscape.

DAY 2: CONG DAM (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER)

06:30: Early birds are welcome to attend sunrise Tai Chi on our upper deck and it’s an excellent way to get your energy levels up for today’s adventures. You will be fascinated by the exquisiteness of Halong Bay in the early hours as you enjoy a coffee, tea.

08:00: Enjoy a buffet breakfast with best local coffee brand and freshly fruit juices.

09:00: Next we board our Signature Day Boat to head to Cong Dam Area, best known for its crystal clear sandy beaches. Enjoy kayaking, swimming or just relax on a stunning secluded beach.

12:00: Have lunch with Signature set menu on our day boat.

15:30: Back on board Signature Cruise, take some time to freshen up, take a nap or just relax at your leisure as we cruise to our overnight area. Witness one of the most brilliant sunsets you will ever see.

DAY 3: THIEN CANH SON CAVE – BAI TU LONG BAY – HANOI (LIGHT BREAKFAST / BRUNCH)

06:30: The best time to observe Halong Bay is in the early morning and we suggest that if you didn’t get to witness it yesterday that now is your last chance. Tai Chi will be conducted again today on our upper deck and is a terrific way to feel as one with the peaceful surroundings.

07:30: Light breakfast will be served this morning.

07:30-08:30: Enjoy the last stage of your trip in Thien Canh Son cave and islets, which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage.

09:30: Check out of your cabin and enjoy the last stage of your trip with a delicious brunch as we continue to cruise back towards harbor through scenery.

11:15: After a final farewell from our staff, you will be transported back to Halong City wharf via our Tender for your transfer back to Hanoi. We trust you  had  a  pleasant  journey  on  Signature Cruise Halong Bay and hope to have the pleasure of your company with us again.

09:00 – 09:30: Your transfer vehicle will collect you from your hotel in Hanoi and convey you to Hai Phong around 11h30.

12:00: You will be taken on our tender from the wharf and make your way out onto the bay to board our luxurious craft, Era Cruise. You will be welcome aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink. Our Crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.

13:15: A special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites will be served. Dining on a luxury junk with fine food and drinks doesn't come much better than this. 15:00: When lunch is about to finish, it is just nice that the Cruise complete its entry through Cua Van area to Lan Ha Bay (as part of Halong Bay). Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo…you will have chance to see the local life on a valley of local people. Optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost).

12:00: Have lunch with Signature set menu on our day boat.

13:45: Free kayaking and swimming at Ba Ham Lake area situated in the middle of a narrow, rectangular area, with the all four sides enclosed by vertical cliffs. (if the weather permit)

16:00: Back on board Era Cruise, take some time to freshen up, take a nap or just relax at your leisure as we cruise to our overnight area. Witness one of the most brilliant sunsets you will ever see.

17:30-18:30: Bar opens for Happy Hour "Buy one get one free ".

18:00: Enjoy cooking demonstration to discover our Vietnamese cuisine of traditional spring rolls.

19:15: A special dinner will be served offering you outstanding food and quality service.

20:45 – 00:00: This evening is yours to enjoy whatever you please. Tonight we will hold a movie night with a selection of films available. We also have a selection of board games for your entertainment. Our bar is always open and is an ideal place to meet new people and share stories about your adventures.

DAY 3: Dark & Bright Cave – Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (Light Breakfast/Brunch)

06:30: The nicest time of the day on Lan Ha Bay is the morning. Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never ending miraculous scenery unfold before you.

07:00: Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)

7:30 - 9:15: Enjoy the last stage of your trip to Dark & Bright cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterwards.

09:30: Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland. After a final early brunch and a last goodbye from our crew at 11:30, you will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.

12:10-12:30: Get on luxury van and get back to Hanoi.
